CEInet, a government-funded national network, is greatly honoured for those historic visits. China's senior officials have paid their visits to CEInet's headquarter office and met with the management team of CEInet.

	• Zhang Xiaoqiang, Vice Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission ( formerly known as State Development Planning Commission) came to CEInet company location and had an inspection tour on April 29 2005.
	•  Wang Chunzheng, Vice Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission, Lou Jiwei, Vice Minister in charge of the Ministry of Finance, and Liu He, Vice Director of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Leading Group, together had an inspection tour to CEInet in June 2004.
	•  Zeng Peiyan, Former Minister of the State Development Planning Commission, and Wang Chunzheng, Executive Deputy Minister of the State Development Planning Commission, with SIC leaders accompanied, had an inspection tour to CEInet in February 2002.
	•  Former President Jiang Zemin met with CEInet's former Chairman Liu He at the Boao Asia Forum founded in February 2001.
	•  Former Vice Premier Zou Jiahua and Former Minister Hu Qili had an inspection tour to CEInet in December 1996 when it started up operation.
	•  Former Vice Premier Zhu Rongji and Former State Councilor Li Tieying had an inspection tour to CEInet in January 1996 when the company was under construction.
