CEInet's 2006 Industrial Development Seminar on May 25-26 2006, was convened in Changping District of Beijing.
Representatives from the industrial authorities were attending the Seminar. The current status, prospects and risks of investment in key industrial sectors of China had been discussed.

The 9th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo, was held on May 23-27 2006. CEInet Sino-Dutch Project set a booth in the Expo, which demonstrated the facts of sustainable industrial developments in China, such as environmental program.
£ÞA Seminar of "Global Economy and Competition by 2050" held on May 16
The economic perspectives of "E7 and G7 by 2050" have been revealed in the Seminar of "Global Economy and Competition by 2050", held by CEInet Data Co., Ltd. in May 16 2006.
Dr. John Hawksworth from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) concluded their new forecasts. The Emerging Seven economies, or E7 as the new leading forces, will be will be around 25 percent larger than the current G7 when measured in US dollar terms. China could be biggest global economy by 2050 if calculated in Purchasing Power Parities (PPP).
The officials from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, People's Bank of China (Central Bank), and other research institutes including the Development Research Center of the State Council, gave their attendances in the seminar.

CEInet Data Co., Ltd. will open the SMEs Corporate Governance Workshop on December 12-16, which is sponsored by European Union (EU).

£ÞCEInet 7th Information Network Cooperation Conference on Aug. 20-24
CEInet Data Co., Ltd. held the 7th Nationwide Information Network Cooperation Conference on August 20-24 in Urumchi, capital city of the northwest province of Xinjiang.
The 80 representatives from CEInet's partnership information networks nationwide participated in the annual conference. During the conference, Du Ping, Director in charge of the planning team under the Office of the Leading Group for Western Region Development of the State Council, delivered his speech to underscore the government's demand for information intelligence and the significance on how to utilize information resources.

The 10th Annual Convention of Chinese Association of Quantitative Economics was held on June 3-5 2005 in Nanjing, a capital city located in China's eastern province of Jiangsu. There are 300 economic scholars and experts gathered in Convention.
